Emara Tax Portal now open to receive applications to form a Corporate Tax Group
Recently, the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has enabled the option in the Emara Tax Portal which allows the Eligible Persons to file an application for forming a corporate tax group under Article 40 of the Federal Decree Law No 47 of 2022 on the Taxation of Corporations and Businesses (“UAE CT Law”).
Article 40(3) of the UAE CT Law read with Ministerial Decision No. 125 of 2023 specifies that the application to form a Tax Group must be submitted to the FTA by the Parent Company and each Subsidiary seeking to become members of the Tax Group before the end of the Tax Period within which the formation of Tax Group is requested.
